Giving Bath To Baby-Keep Your Little One Clean

Author: Max Info

You are happy since the birth of your new baby. You are taking enough care of the baby's health. You feed him natural and good food, milk, etc. take care about his health and pay attention on his activities. Sometimes baby care can preset unique challenges that you may not know how to handle. There may be many questions on your mind and you probably do not know the answer to them. Some questions are on baby's sleeping time, feed time, etc. The questions are obvious for the first time parents. But the answers to them are already given by experts of baby research and baby health. Here in this article we are concern with the bathing problems and their solutions.

The most common question that may arise in parents mind is about the timing of the bath for the baby. I have heard many parents asking about the timing of the bath to the baby. Actually, experts say that babies really need not to be bathed two or three times per week. Parents should always wash their baby's face and diaper area really well, but the rest of the body arms, legs and back doesn't really get that dirty. The legs and hands of the baby should be kept clean and well regularly. Use a proper soap and beware of over washing the baby especially during winter as water can dry the skin of your precious child. Another important matter is the place where you give bath to your baby. Kitchen sinks are used for many women to give their child bath. It is nice but bathroom is much appropriate place for the bath to the baby.

The temperature of the water with which your baby is going to take a bath is also important. You can test the temperature by your elbow as they are sensitive then your fingers. Just warm or let your water cold to feel comfortable to the baby. Another problem of parents is the peeling skin. Parents should go through a very natural process of peeling skin. Many parents think the skin is peeling because it's dry. It's not. Try to imagine what would happen to your skin if you sat in a bathtub full of water for nine months and then had to adapt to the dry air. Skin peeling right after birth is a natural process, and it doesn't need any special treatment. In terms of washing, it's best to use a very mild soap. Even though there are a lot of products advertised, I find that unscented Dove soap works best. It is very mild, which is good because some children have reactions to the perfumes and dyes used in some soap. This will help keep their skin from getting irritated.

Now after bath it comes on giving the child some extra care. To give him perfume or talcum powder etc. You should get away of powder as they can cause the lung damage. If you choose to use it then don't sprinkle directly the talcum powder on the baby because baby can breathe it in
