  1. Go to a gym. There are weight machines that help build stronger back. The three machines most useful exercises are the seated row, good-morning, and lateral pull-down. This will target the different muscle groups in your back and strengthen them. Remember to increase your protein intake after workouts.
  2. Use free weights. The best exercise for your lats are pull ups and wide grip pull ups. For lower back, do hyperextensions. These are even more effective if you hold weight while performing.
  3. Build your endurance. Something that can help your back to work constantly is keeping a correct posture while walking. Making sure you maintain a proper posture throughout the day ensures that your muscles are constantly working and building strength and endurance.
  4. Replace your chair with a Swedish exercise ball (one of those giant rubber inflated balls). Sitting and balancing on that ball instead of slouching in your chair helps build muscle endurance.

Tips

  • Don't overwork your muscles. If you feel that you can't do something or it hurts, take a break.
  • Eat healthy food rich in protein and carbs (unless you are trying to lose weight).
