7.1 megapixels is a pretty underwhelming number vis-à-vis many of the latest generation of compact cameras out there. 4 x 6 prints will look every bit as good as traditional film based photos at 7.1 megapixels. Larger portraits and landscapes, however, may not exhibit the quality of the photo lab.
Like many of the freshest digital cameras on the market, the Canon Powershot SD750 includes face recognition technology that targets faces rather than inanimate objects as the focal point of a photo. The Canon Powershot SD750 includes the ability to edit reduce and remove demonic red eyes from your photos immediately after you take them. Canon’s red eye correction works fantastically and the results are pleasingly clear on the bright 3-inch LCD.
