STEP 2:

It is a non-threatening atmosphere and much less formal. Otherwise, stop in at a local office and ask to speak with a real estate agent there. Keep in mind that a good real estate agent is a busy real estate agent so she may not always be at the office. That's a good sign. Arrange an appointment to meet with and interview a real estate agent, again, so you can get a feel for how she works.

STEP 4:

Take your pick. By this time, you should feel as though you are ready to choose a real estate agent. Go through the recommendations you received as well as the personal interview information you have. Choose a real estate agent that makes you feel comfortable and comes across as someone who will take your best interests to heart. You should get a good feeling from the real estate agent you choose.
