Chrysler Sales Outside North America Surpass 2006 Total

AUBURN HILLS, Michigan, December 10 --

-- With one month left of sales to record, Chrysler sales outside North America surpassed 2006 total sales by more than 9,000 units -- Year-to-date sales increased 16 percent over the same period in 2006 -- November 2007 sales grew 4 percent over same month in 2006 -- Chrysler International achieved an unprecedented 30 consecutive months of year-over-year sales growth -- Significant growth realized in all regions

Chrysler LLC year-to-date sales for markets outside North Americaincreased 16 percent to 216,214 units, exceeding last year's total sales(206,925 units). For the month of November, sales were up 4 percent to19,588units, and brought the number of consecutive months for year-over-yearsalesgains to 30. This November marked the best November ever outside NorthAmerica, beating the previous record of 19,069 units set in 1996.

"Global customers are responding positively to our broadened productportfolio," said Michael Manley, Executive Vice President - InternationalSales, Marketing and Business Development. "Our growth in all regionsdemonstrates that this success is balanced among these markets, and notdependent on the industry trends of any one region. As we continue to growglobally, we will retain the strong identity and leverage the equity in ourdistinct American brands - Chrysler, Jeep(R) and Dodge."

January through November, sales in all regions achieved noteworthygrowth, with the Middle East / Northern Africa region making the greatestimprovements. Sales for the month nearly doubled to 2,006 units, andyear-to-date sales have increased 68 percent (19,177 units). Jeep brandmodels accounted for a large portion of the growth in this region, whileestablished favorites also played a key role. Chrysler PT Cruiser sales inthe region have increased more than 10 times to reach 3,509 unitsyear-to-date, complementing the success of newer models, like JeepWrangler,which sold roughly 2,100 units - an increase of 176 percent.

As indicated by the Middle East performance, Jeep brand sales continuedto be strong, with an increase of 14 percent year-to-date (88,009 units)outside North America. Dodge brand sales continued to grow at anacceleratedpace as well. Sales for the brand exceeded 50,000 units so far in 2007, andhave roughly doubled last year's sales during the same time period.Chryslerbrand sales have declined for the year, but sales for some Chrysler modelshave been increasing rapidly. Two Chrysler vehicles are among the Company'stop-five sellers, and sales for the Chrysler 300C have climbed 13 percentthrough November.

Chrysler LLC sells and services vehicles in more than 125 countriesaround the world, and Chrysler sales outside North America currentlyaccountfor approximately eight percent of the Company's total global sales.Vehiclesavailable range across all three Chrysler brands, with limited availabilityon some trucks and SUV models. The Company's operations outside NorthAmericahave been experiencing year-over-year sales increases since 2004, and willcontinue to increase the number of product offerings, powertrain optionsandRHD availability through 2007.
