The new 4.7-liter V-8 produces 310 hp and 330 pound-feet of torque while using less fuel and providing smoother operation compared with the engine it replaces. Similarly, the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 offers 345 hp and 375 pound-feet of torque and is equipped with Chrysler Group's Multi-displacement System, which provides up to 20% fuel savings, the maker says. A Trailer Sway Control can be added to the truck's optional Electronic Stability Program, and a tire-pressure monitoring system is also available.
