The Cowon D2 is a compact touch screen MP3 player that is solidly constructed and is surprisingly easy to use, navigate and has great sound quality. Although the storage size, at 4 GB, is a little small for a device in this price range it includes an expandable SD slot for extra memory. And included stylus also doubles as a kickstand.

Additional features include an extraordinarily long battery life at more than 50 hours of audio and about 10 for video. The D2 is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux machines and supports a broad array of file formats including MP3, WMA, WAV, Ogg and FLAC.

Users and experts really enjoy the touch screen interface and think it is a decent alternative to the iPod Touch and Nano.  One reviewer found that the radio only works when using the included headphones because they include a built-in antenna. If you are using a different set of phones (which is suggested) keep the packaged ones nearby for radio listening. Users liked that the package included an AC wall adapter for charging, allowing you to take the Cowon D2 on trips without your computer.
