Chinese auto group Dongfeng Auto displayedits own hybrid vehicle codenamed EQ7200HEV at the 5th International CleanVehicle Technology Exhibition and Forum in Beijing, a local newspaperreported.
The hybrid vehicle, which is built on the platform of a Dongfeng Nissan-made Bluebird, will start volume production in three years, acording to Beijing News.
The power system of this vehicle consists of a 1.6 Liter engine(Dongfeng PSA Fukang) and a lithum batter packs. The vehicle will be priced at about 250,000 yuan ($33,460) after volumeproduction. Under Chinese government regulations, the price of a hybridvehicle can be higher but no more than 30 percent higher than a gasolinepowered vehicle at similar level.
