Research has been carried out and the results have shown that the electric cars have no negative effect to the environment or to the user. They are cost effective since they are rechargeable. There are battery packs in the electric cars that store the energy that runs the cars. There are electric cars that use ultra capacitors and flywheels to store energy. There are both manual and automatic electric cars. The automatic electric cars are more sensitive to the car power actions. Detectors that regulate the activities of the car enable the regulation of the power system by the motor controller. These detectors relay the signals to the batteries, which are the power stores and when there is need for more energy the power production is stepped up.

The hybrid technology is also applied in the production of green cars. Green cars are cars that do not use fuel. An example of a green car is a car that uses waste vegetable oil. Such a car is environmental friendly since it recycles the used vegetable oil and because it does not use gas thus there is no emission of carbon compounds that leads to global warming. However, green cars have engines thus there are little emissions that are produced though since the cars use fuel alternatives, the emission effects are not felt in the environs. The combustion in the engines of green cars is low though the energy that is produced is enough to propel a car to its maximum speed.
