It's easily understandable and navigable, presenting many options such as a scrapbook of each person, allowing pictures to be embedded, medical information, multiple spouses etc. The real gem of this software is it's website. Each month www.familytreemaker.com releases a magazine devoted to genealogy and it's software, search engines for you family and multiple volumes of CD's containing family data back to around the 1500's. The page even contains a classified section, user home pages, and the "World Family Tree".
Features
This software allows the classification of a wide spectrum of topics pertaining to any family member. Start with whomever you like, and add their parents, children, spouses, divorcee's etc with the click of a button. Extensive marriage classification and medical histories are available if you desire to use such features. The toolbar along the top allows you to easily find and navigate your family tree, while the tabs along the side provide easy access to the current individuals immediate family. Exporting and printing your family tree is no problem, adding coloured borders and pictures if you wish.
