For years, material suppliers have catered their business to production builders -- you know, home builders that construct dozens of spec homes a year. Well, now that the market has slowed down, those production builders have cut down their productivity. So suppliers are currently offering phenomenal deals to homeowners and builders alike. Lumber prices, for instance, are at their lowest in five years! With fewer homes being built, you will also see a lot more competition between builders and subcontractors. That means better quality service and lower prices!
2) No Rush
Let's face it, building a new home is stressful. It may be one of the most stressful periods of your life. So why add to that stress by rushing things?
