Fixing DK Software Installation Error San Jose CA

Steps

  1. If you receive the following message after installing DK software, "The sound decompression software has not been installed properly. Please run Setup again. This program will now terminate.", don't worry.
  2. If you have an Internet connection, open the web browser and in the address bar type in: http://www.learnatglobal.com/html/xp_sound.html
  3. Click the link that says, "Click here to download the XP patch".
  4. Select Run.
  5. Wait for the download to load. Then select "Run" again.
  6. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
  7. When you are finished, your DK software should work properly. If it doesn't, write to "Global Software Publishing, N.A., Inc. 535 West 34th Street. NY, NY 10001.

Tips

  • You may have to temporarily disable your Antivirus software in order to download this patch. To do this right-click the antivirus software icon in the right corner of your computer screen. Then download and execute the patch. To re-enable your Antivirus software right-click the icon and ?re-enable?. Once the patch is installed your program will run flawlessly.
  • If you don't have an Internet Connection, you will not be able to fix the problem.
