Work with multiple images with Vegas Pro 8's new comprehensive multicamera editing workflow. You can edit multicamera productions intuitively by specifying shots as you watch your project. Switch between as many as 32 video sources with a keyboard command or a click of the mouse. Fine-tuning the results is easy, as Vegas Pro 8 keeps all unused shots as alternate takes.

32-Bit Floating Point Video Processing
The video signal processing engine offers users the traditional 8-bit model and an advanced 32-bit floating point-based signal path. The 32-bit floating point video engine provides the processing headroom to maintain much higher precision for the complete signal path. Benefits include greater color range, reduced banding and posterization on gradients, and linear light capabilities for optically correct compositing.

Audio Mixing Console and Audio Routing
The audio mixing console in Vegas Pro 8 is the software equivalent to a traditional hardware mixer and is modeled to simulate studio-style workflow. You'll get a single interface for mixing, routing, effect assignment, and automation control for all the audio signals in a project.

AVCHD Import and Export
