The following recipes are from AllRecipes.com:

Black Halloween Punch

1 (.13 ounce) envelope unsweetened grape soft drink mix

1 (.13 ounce) envelope unsweetened orange soft drink mix

2 cups white sugar

3 quarts cold water

1 liter ginger ale

To make a frozen hand, wash a disposable glove, fill with water, seal with a rubber band and freeze until hard.

Stir together grape soft drink mix, orange soft drink mix, sugar and water until solids are dissolved. Combine with chilled ginger ale just before serving.

Dip the frozen hand briefly in warm water, then peel off the glove. Float the prepared hand in the punch bowl for a ghastly effect.

Boo Beverage

2 cups orange juice

2 cups milk

2 pint orange sherbet

4 ripe bananas

2 cups whipped topping

18 miniature chocolate chips

In four batches, process the orange juice, milk, sherbet and bananas in a blender until smooth. Pour into glasses. Cut a hole in the corner of a pastry or plastic bag; fill with whipped topping. Pipe a ghost shape on top of each beverage. Position chocolate chips for eyes.

Witches Brew

1 (10 ounce) package frozen raspberries, thawed

2 1/2 cups cranberry juice

2 envelopes unflavored gelatin

2 liters ginger ale

2 liters sparkling apple cider (non-alcoholic)

6 gummi snakes candy

To make the frozen hand: Wash and rinse the outside of a latex dish-washing glove. Turn glove inside out and set aside. In a 4-cup measuring cup, combine the thawed raspberries and cranberry juice.

Pour 2 cups of the raspberry mixture into a small saucepan. Sprinkle the gelatin over and let stand 2 minutes. Warm over low heat, stirring constantly, just until gelatin dissolves. Mix back into the reserved raspberry mixture in the measuring cup.

Pour raspberry mixture into the inverted glove. Gather up the top of the glove and tie securely with kitchen twine. Freeze until solid, or several days if possible.

To serve: Carefully cut latex glove away from frozen hand. Place frozen hand, palm side up, leaning against side of a large punch bowl. Pour in ginger ale and sparkling cider. Garnish with gummy snakes.

Blue Slime Sipper

1 (6-ounce) package blueberry-flavored gelatin

3 cups lemonade, chilled

3 cups lemon-lime carbonated beverage, chilled

2 cups boiling water

4 cups cold water

In a large mixing bowl, combine gelatin and two cups of boiling water; stir until dissolved. Stir in 4 cups of cold water. Cover and chill at least 4 hours. Gelatin will be partially set.

To serve, stir gelatin with a large spoon, fork, or wire whisk until gelatin is broken into small pieces. Place 1/4 cup of the lemonade in a large, clear glass or plastic tumbler. Add 1/2 cup of the gelatin to the lemonade, then add 1/4 cup of the carbonated beverage.

Stir slightly and you're ready to slurp some slime.

Bug Juice Smoothies

4 cups vanilla fat-free yogurt

4 medium bananas, cut into chunks

2 cups frozen strawberries

2 cups orange juice

Place half of each ingredient in blender. Cover and blend on high speed about 30 seconds or until smooth. Pour into 4 glasses.

Repeat with remaining ingredients. Pour into remaining 4 glasses. Serve immediately.

Tip: Sprinkle with crunchy granola for a tasty topping.

Goblin Goo Drink

1 (6-ounce) package Jell-O Brand Grape or Orange Flavor Gelatin

4 cups cold prepared Kool-Aid Grape or Orange Flavor Sugar-Sweetened Soft Drink Mix

Prepare dry gelatin mix as directed on package. Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm.

Break gelatin into small flakes with fork. Spoon about 1/2 cup gelatin into each of 8 tall glasses.

Pour 1/2 cup cold soft drink over gelatin in each glass.

Serve immediately with a straw to sip gelatin pieces and soft drink.

Great Substitute: Prepare as directed, using 2 (3.25-ounce each) packages Jell-O Brand Grape or Orange Flavor Gelatin.

Two-Color Go Prepare 1 (3.25-ounce) package each grape and orange flavor gelatin as directed on package. Refrigerate and break into flakes as directed. Layer 1/4 cup each orange and grape gelatin flakes in each glass. Pour 1/2 cup cold soft drink over gelatin in each glass.

Fizzy Goblin Go Just before serving, prepare Kool-Aid as directed, substituting cold seltzer for water.
