3. Invite the mother to share a cup of coffee with you letting her know beforehand your concerns. Inform her that you would like to have a serious chat with her about them. Tell her that you care about her and her children and do not want to lose her friendship.

Tips

• The younger the children the tougher things are lightly to be for the mother so you could offer your help.
• No matter the age, children will understand the loss of privileges; early to bed, no dessert, no TV, being grounded etc.
