If you are having a difficult pregnancy, difficultly adapting to pregnancy/having a baby or have little to no support, or have suffered depression in the past, you may be depressed during your pregnancy. Your care provider will have recommendations for you to combat depression. Counseling and medication may be recommended.
   
   If you are depressed during pregnancy, you are at a high risk of developing a condition called postpartum depression after you deliver. Talk to your care provider about postpartum depression symptoms and treatment plans.
