In order to build an organization that is innovative in the truest sense, a culture, vision and process are key components of success. These criteria create an urgency in the people of your organization to be creative and see problems as a way to create solutions. Management should encourage employees to become a part of the problem-solving process, allowing employees to use their creativity to approach obstacles and producing results that inspire and motivate others to do the same. Eight steps are necessary in creating an entrepreneurial and innovative business that is ahead of the curve in innovation management. Step number one is to implement techniques to draw out the creativity of employees. Number two is the ability to allow employees to express themselves openly and ask questions. Number three is to begin implementing successful projects after the results have been analyzed. Number four is to tally ideas and combine, select, review and filter them. Number five is to set deadlines, innovation measurements and goals. Number six is to create a motivational and inspirational vision for your employees to grasp. The seventh step is to empower your employees, no matter what level they're on. And the eighth step is to create working models of the proposals that are the most promising. This is an excellent way to motivate employees to create better production.
