- Pigeonhole is a "Free Form" organizer. To use, you type or paste anything you want to remember into one of its pigeonholes. When you need to recall the information, all you have to do is move the mouse over the program and the contents of each pigeonhole appears in the viewer automatically as the mouse moves over it.
You can see up to 175 different bits of information by moving the mouse around.
Available versions include a Windows version, a flash drive version, and a U3 Smart Drive version.
- Spartan is multi clipboard software. Its interface allows you to choose from up to 150 pre-saved clips without clicking, scrolling or selecting groups. To use, pop it up and click on the clip you want.
You can arrange your clips in several ways-all alphabetic, some alphabetic or some highlighted in color. Spartan features include clip preview, sound, keyboard only pasting, automatic Web bookmarks, automatic E-mail addressing, form filling, Web logon, phone dialing, program launch, and bulk paste. It pastes graphic clips directly into Outlook Express (you can have it automatically reduce large photos) and it has onboard editors for both text and graphic clips. Spartan also includes its own built in backup and restore system.
Spartan is offered in Standard, Portable (Flash Drives) and U3 versions.
- WebM8 will remember all your usernames and passwords and fill your log on screens automatically. It will also allow you to fill other Web forms by point and click and, according to the vendor, is completely browser independent.
WebM8 has the ability to cope with logon screens that ask a different security question each time and the latest version even automates logon screens which ask for three different characters from your password. WebM8 data files are encrypted using the Blowfish algorithm with a 256 bit key.
WebM8 is also available in a portable and a U3 Edition.
- CopyPlus will save everything you copy and keep a tally of how many clips you have in the task bar. When you are ready to paste, click on the Copy Plus icon, select the spacing you want between clips and click paste. All your clips are pasted in at the same time. Before pasting, you can opt to paste the fully formatted clips (Fonts, colors and graphics) or to strip out the plain text only.
