It integrates with browser-based open source networking tools such as Nagios, OpenNMS, and others. With it you can create custom dashboards, flow results between tools, and save network settings and favorites.
Features and capabilities include:
- The ptDashboard is a "network management dashboard" with a summary display of key performance indicators (KPIs) and diagnostic metrics of network performance and availability. Managers and operations staff can continuously monitor key assets at chosen intervals with customizable gadgets for Availability, CPU, Memory, Disk Utilization, and Network Utilization.
- A few of the network discovery and diagnostic tools included are Cisco Configuration, TFTP Server, DNS Audit, Ping Scan, MAC Scan, Port Scan, and SNMP Scan
- Device Groups allow you to treat selected network targets as one consolidated target of IPs and Subnets, grouped together for access when running a tool or creating a dashboard gadget
- Favorites allow you to configure device groups, general criteria, and your favorite tool all wrapped as one custom tool. This gives you the ability to perform one-click runs of diagnostics specific to your network
- The Recent Tools List allows you to track back to a recent tool run, even if you haven't saved the settings.
