Steps
- Collect or take photos that represent each letter of the alphabet.
- Take a trip to your local scrapbook store or section of your local supermarket and pick up a 8x8 post bound album, Alphabet stickers of your choice of color as long as they have both capital and lowercase letters. You also need a glue stick and or double sided tape; this will be used to hold your creation together.
- Personalize your book by titling, "child?s name" Book of ABC's or any other title you may want. Add one of your favorite photos of your child to personalize the book, and write a description of your child.
- Begin planning your pages accordingly starting with Aa. Put your Aa in the upper right or left hand corner, your choice.
- Add the photos and stickers that represent the letter you are working with at the time. Continue this step through until you reach Zz.
- Add an end page if you choose. Your end page can be a letter to your child telling them a story of why you made him/her this special book.
Tips
- For difficult letters to find go to a ABC coloring book, have your child color the page and use it to represent that letter.
- 8x8 albums work best for small hands
- You can also apply these step to make an album of numbers.
- Stickers or other objects are also optional to add to your pages
