However, I also realize that many of you are just looking at our home plans, in order to get good ideas for remodeling your current home. I read their free-advice, because I am in the middle of remodeling my own home. What a mess it creates. I can promise you it is much easier to build a new home than to do extensive remodeling. I am so stressed about everything working out, because remodeling is like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. I know I am stressed because when I really stress, I get cold sores. I now have a bunch of cold sores. Remodeling requires that you bang your head against the square peg as hard as you can and for as long as you can take it. The costs of remodeling are difficult to figure. Needless to say my total bill is going to be much higher than I estimated. Now I know why remodelers charge so much, because remodeling is a royal pain. But, if your wife or husband would never consider moving, then you better keep looking for ideas to remodel. Who knows, you may run across a house plan that is so great that he or she will want to build it and you can avoid all the headaches and cold sores.
