TopTenReviews Editor's Review:

The Sony Location Free Lf-x5 is not your average portable television, it is a wireless handheld portable device that not only receives a television signal, but also connects to the Internet. It works more like a wireless laptop that a traditional portable television. The television base is plugged into the wall and hooked into your router, and then you can carry your 7 inch widescreen flat panel LCD color television around the house.
The Lf-x5 is a touch screen LCD TV that can also act as an Internet browser and email device. The external antenna locates the signal from the TV base that is connected to your Internet router and delivers television programming either from cable or stored from a DVDr like TiVo. The Sony Location Free Lf-x5 also has 2 AV composite inputs for DVD players or other peripherals.
Most users are very pleased with their Sony Lf-x5. They found it produced a good picture and the batteries last an adequate amount of time making it very convenient for travel. Some users reported losing a signal when they went too far away from the dock and would like to see the wireless distance improved.
The Sony Location Free Lf-x5 may not be ideal for camping or family trips, but it is perfect for the busy professional spending long amounts of time in airports and hotels. Now, you can take your favorite television programs with you and watch on your time.
