DETROIT, Nov. 27 -- Auto Racing Day will roar into the 2008 NorthAmerican International Auto Show (NAIAS) on Friday, Jan. 25, 2008 duringNAIAS Public Days. Presented by Sprint, and in its third year, the eventoffers race fans of all ages the chance to come to the show on Auto RacingDay and participate in a variety of onsite activities.

"The checkered flag is waving and we're calling all motorsports and racefans to rush to the finish line to capture the prize of fun and excitementon Auto Racing Day during NAIAS Public Days," said Carl Galeana, seniorco-chairman for the NAIAS 2008. "We have so much in store for this eventthat we urge all race enthusiasts to get in gear and come down to the NAIASto participate in all of our special attractions."
As presenting sponsor, Sprint brings unprecedented excitement to RacingDay by bringing a special interactive display that showcases four 3/4-scaleracing simulators. Auto enthusiasts familiar with the NASCAR Sprint CupSeries will get the chance to absorb the feeling of a real-life drivingexperience when they climb behind the wheel and join with family andfriends in a race to the finish line.
Fans also can enjoy the sights and sounds of NASCAR Sprint Cup Racesthrough exclusive video footage, free giveaways, and surprise appearancesby some of racing's top drivers.
