FULLERTON, Calif. (Jan. 2, 2008) – Yokohama tires are standardequipment on all trim levels of the all-new 2008 Mitsubishi LancerEvolution (EVO), introduced during the recent Greater Los Angeles AutoShow. The ultra-high-performance Yokohama A13C tires in size 245/40R18carry a 93Y load and speed rating and ride on 18 x 8.5 inch Enkei castaluminum or BBS forged aluminum alloy wheels, depending on the modellevel.

The EVO brings together Mitsubishi’s rally-inspired technology andengineering in a series that went on sale in Japan 16 years ago. Inaddition to the state-of-the-art tire technology used in the Yokohamatires, the EVO comes with a 291-hp 2-liter turbocharged and intercooledengine and an all-wheel-control dynamic handling system to regulate drivetorque at each wheel.
